Original Concept 1:
Spacial Continuity - Kiesler's Concept of Endless Space is space that just continues with no specific end to it. It has a continuous curved surface and the structure shows that it can maintain a shape structurally without having a column and or frame to support it. (Kiesler)

Geometry - Preston was really deeply rooted in the disciplinary traditions of architectural geometry. Use of perspectival projection in combination with stereotomy meant that he was always concerned with the controlled description of forms imminently tractable to material fabrication and realizations. (Preston)

Electroliquid Aggregation

Geometry is the art of adding and subtracting various shapes; mostly those which can be divided equally and symmetrically, together to form one single unity; that becomes the scheme in establishing a concrete idea in creating architecture. It may be very simplistic in nature but it helps emphasize the notion of endless space within; whilst walking through the building and experiencing the unique form and internal skeletal structure first hand and noticing that it needs nothing to support it, giving the inhabitant a complimentary aspect and feel of it. It connects very well together as if it belongs; being able to survey the surrounding nature from within and being able to observe the movements of what takes place inside from the outside.

Axonometrics

Week 1: Concepts

Frederick Kiesler:

1. Spacial Continuity
Kieslers concept of endless space is space that just continues with no specific end to it. It has a continuous curved surface and the structure shows that it can maintain a shape structurally without having a column or frame to support it.

2. Correalism
Concept of Correalism expressed the dynamics of continual interaction between man and his natural and technological environments.

3. Anthropomorphism
Interior Spaces are all connected together like organs in a human body. It is to convey function.

4. Biomorphic
Endless form relating to modern style, such as the emphasis of his body of work that looks like a womans body unlike the bare bones of international style. Its like a body with systems and organs which is an extension of the endless human body.

5. Psycho-Function
Kiesler's concept of psycho-function meant "surplus above efficiency which may turn a functional solution into art". Art as signified by kiesler is the "organisation of static materials into a living unity".

Preston Scott Cohen:

1. Geometry
He was really deeply rooted in the disciplinary traditions of architectural geometry. Use of perspectival projection in combination with stereotomy (geometrical technique for cutting solids) meant that he was always concerned with the controlled description of forms imminently tractable to material fabrication and realizations.

2. Stereotomic Permutation
It is opposing systems of projection that are peculiarly combined in order to become techniques of formal transgression. The distance point method of perspective projection introduces a distortion of symmetrical and serial operations and configurations.

3. Modernism
With its simplicity in its structures and forms.

4. Twisting
Most of his works of arts uses simple geometric shapes, but quite a few has been expanded and distorted and twisted into oddly shapes to make it look different and give it a more interesting feel to accommodate different aspects of the building including the penetration of natural and artificial lighting.

5. Paradigm
Uses a range of various different patterns and textures on his projects, to make it unique.
